Long before Torchlight Recovery became an official nonprofit, we were already doing the work. For over 25 years, our members have been deeply embedded in the community — supporting incarcerated individuals, walking alongside people in recovery, and standing in the gap for those often left behind. We’ve always held a vision: to expand our capacity, formalize our services, and create something sustainable and powerful for our community.
We are individuals with lived experience who care deeply about our community.
Torchlight Recovery is a BIPOC-led, community-rooted organization providing compassionate, culturally responsive recovery support services throughout Greater Boston. We empower healing and wellness through peer support, reentry services, and place-based initiatives grounded in equity, dignity, and connection.
At Torchlight Recovery, we provide compassionate, high-quality, and individualized peer recovery support services for the BIPOC community across Greater Boston. We are deeply committed to helping people of color heal spiritually, mentally, and physically — fostering a path to long-term wellness and community connection.
