Event Category:

Please join us on Friday March 27th from 1pm -2pm EST for our next community conversation on “Working with people who may be using alone”

As overdoses are one of the biggest concerns we have when working with people who use drugs and in recovery, we wanted to have a conversation about things we could do and inform people about who we think or know are using alone. We will be joined by Beyer Bullard from SafeSpot  who will join us to share information and aid us in discussing what we can do as providers to help prevent fatal overdoses for those using alone.

Here is some more info about Beyer & SafeSpot:

Beyer Bullard (he/him): Beyer serves as the Communications and Outreach Specialist for SafeSpot Overdose Prevention Hotline, where he has worked for two years. A graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Human Services, Beyer coordinates statewide outreach initiatives to expand awareness of SafeSpot services, improve overdose-prevention education and advance a continuum of support that recognizes drug use as a community-wide topic.
