Community Guidelines
Purpose of Mosaic’s Community Hub
Mosaic’s Community Hub is an online community designed for individuals, organizations, municipalities, and state agencies across Massachusetts working in the fields of substance use and behavioral health. The mission is to address the overdose crisis through collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and resources.
It is a space for:
- Connecting with peers
- Finding helpful resources
- Sharing information and events
RIZE Massachusetts Foundation does not control, endorse, or condone content or events posted by Community Hub members. Resources posted on the Resource Hub are curated by RIZE.
Core Principles
We aim to create a safe and supportive space. All members are expected to follow these core principles:
- Respect – Treat every member with dignity, regardless of their background, role, or experience.
- Collaboration – Share resources, ideas, and insights that strengthen the field and support others.
- Confidentiality – Respect the privacy of individuals, clients, and organizations. Do not share sensitive information or personal data without consent.
- Integrity – Maintain these Core Principles in all posts, replies, and event listings.
Community Guidelines
1. Community Forums
- Share information that is accurate, evidence-based, evidence-informed, or evidence-generating, and relevant to the overdose crisis and the behavioral health field.
- Avoid language or content that is discriminatory, harmful, or stigmatizing. Refer to the Glossary if you are unsure about a term.
- Do not post personal health information (PHI) or identifiable client data.
- Refrain from promotional content unrelated to the purpose of Mosaic’s Community Hub (e.g., unrelated advertising or sales).
- Cite sources or reference materials when sharing research or data.
2. Events
Events must be relevant to prevention, harm reduction, access to care, recovery, trauma, grief, or family supports.
- Clearly provide event details (date, time, location, audience, and purpose).
- Events must adhere to this platform’s Core Principles.
3. Member Directory
- Please ensure that your profile reflects accurate and truthful information. Misleading or false details are not permitted, as they compromise trust within the community.
- Networking is encouraged, but do not misuse member information for unsolicited outreach.
Prohibited Conduct
To keep Mosaic’s Community Hub safe and constructive, we do not allow:
- Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
- Sharing of misinformation or unverified claims.
- Any discussion of illegal activities or practices deemed unsafe by the platform administrators.
- Unauthorized use or distribution of copyrighted materials.
- Attempts to collect or misuse personal or professional data from members.
- Sharing screenshots, quotes, or private messages from this platform without explicit permission.
Moderation & Enforcement
- Mosaic’s Community Hub is moderated and RIZE Massachusetts Foundation reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate, derogatory, or harmful to other members of the community. RIZE may use technology solutions, including artificial intelligence, to identify and remove any such content.
- Repeated or severe violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of Community Hub membership.
- If you see concerning or inappropriate content, please report it to the site administrators.
Privacy & Data
- We respect member privacy and expect all users to do the same.
- Do not share screenshots, quotes, or private messages from this platform without explicit permission.
- Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how data is managed.
Participation & Engagement
- Be generous with your knowledge — share resources and expertise that could benefit others.
- Engage in constructive dialogue — debate ideas, not people.
- Encourage and support peers — this is a community built on care and collaboration.
