      Sharing an opportunity with the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) for a Recovery Specialist role at AHOPE supporting people through peer-based recovery support, care coordination, and harm reduction services.

      This position will work as part of a multidisciplinary public health team focused on advancing racial equity and health justice, while providing direct support to participants across treatment, recovery, healthcare, and community systems. Responsibilities include participant engagement, overdose prevention training, care navigation, advocacy, documentation, and collaboration with community and clinical partners.

      Key details:

      • Full-time (35 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM
      • Must be a Boston resident and have a valid driver’s license
      • Experience with SUD, harm reduction, or community health strongly preferred
      • Bilingual/bicultural applicants encouraged
